- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 4 cups of cooked white rice

1. Rinse the red beans and place them in a large pot. Add 6 cups of water and let the beans soak overnight. 2. Drain and rinse the beans. Add 6 cups of fresh water and bring to a boil. 3.
