The ingredients required for Chicken Chinese Rice are as follows:- 1 cup of basmati rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1 pound of boneless chicken, cut into small pieces

- 1 tablespoon of chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon of ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon of garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of water

Method
1. Rinse the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, drain the water and set aside. 2. In a large pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice and stir. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked. 3. In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent. 4. Add the boneless chicken to the frying pan and cook until it turns golden brown. 5. Add the soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, and black pepper to the frying pan. Mix well. 6. Add the chopped green and red bell peppers and carrot to the frying pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked but still crispy. 7. In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water. Add this mixture to the frying pan and stir until the sauce thickens. 8. Turn off the heat and serve the chicken and vegetables over the cooked rice.Notes
