- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 5 oz chow mein noodles
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced

- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups cooked rice

Method
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the chow mein noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over high heat. Add the chicken and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add the sliced onions and minced garlic to the pan and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Add the sliced bell peppers and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the pan, along with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine and cook for another minute or two.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the pan and toss everything together until well combined.
- Serve the chicken chow mein with rice and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
