- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 package fruit leather
- 1 package Swedish Fish candy
- 1 package gummy worms
- 1 package sour belts
- 1 package candy eyes
- 1 package sesame seeds
- 1 package black licorice
Equipment
- Large mixing bowl
- Microwave-safe bowl
- 9x13 inch baking dish
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
Method
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until completely melted.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted butter and stir until well combined.
- Press the Rice Krispies mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Cut the fruit leather into thin strips and place on top of the Rice Krispies mixture to resemble seaweed.
- Place the Swedish Fish candy and gummy worms on top of the fruit leather to resemble fish and other sea creatures.
- Cut the sour belts into small pieces and place on top of the Rice Krispies mixture to resemble sushi rolls.
- Add the candy eyes to the top of the sour belt pieces to resemble faces.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the Rice Krispies mixture to resemble sesame seeds on sushi rolls.
- Cut the black licorice into thin strips and use them to create chopsticks.
- Serve and enjoy your candy sushi.
