For the Chicken Manchurian:- 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons corn flour
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 capsicum, chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon red chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 capsicum, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Equipment
- Wok or frying pan
- Mixing bowl

Method
For the Chicken Manchurian:
- In a mixing bowl, add the boneless chicken, ginger garlic paste, corn flour, all-purpose flour, egg, and salt. Mix well and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok or frying pan. Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken pieces and fry until golden brown. Remove the chicken pieces with a strainer and keep aside.
- In the same wok, add chopped onion, capsicum, and green chilies. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the fried chicken pieces and mix well with the sauce.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
For the Fried Rice:
- Heat oil in a wok or frying pan. Add chopped onion and garlic. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add chopped capsicum and carrot. Fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked rice, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
- Fry for 5-7 minutes until the rice is heated through and the vegetables are cooked.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with Chicken Manchurian.
Notes
- For a healthier option, you can bake the chicken instead of frying it.
- You can add more vegetables to the fried rice, such as peas, corn, and mushrooms.
- You can adjust the spice level of the Chicken Manchurian by adding more or less chili sauce.
- You can use leftover rice for this recipe.
